Default Fog Light Switch

Hey guys,

Is the fog light switch supposed to illuminate at night? I have the little dot that lights up when the fog lights are turned on, but it looks like the other side of the switch might be backlit. Just wondering...

My 93 illuminates just like the radio switches or HVAC stuff. It also has the orange dot when they're on. If you have a 92 and up on the older body style, yours should be like mine.

I guess we need to know SSEiguy'* year and trim level........? Then I'll sell him the illuminated switch out of the 94 SSE in the junkyard here in town. For a modest up-charge, of course!

Nothing like helping out a neighbor to the North, SSEiguy!

OK, just what I suspected... either the switch in my 92 SSEi isn't supposed to light up or the bulb is burned out.

Luckily I snagged a switch out of a 98 on my last wrecking yard run, just in case.

Hey, willwren, that 94 SSE at your local wrecking yard... what color interior does it have and how picked over is it? I'm trying to locate some beige interior trim pieces, a dark blue LF fender, and some wheels like the ones like Jeff has on his 95. The yards up here are pretty well picked over

Dean.

Not sure on the interior color, but I THINK it'* that ugly (nobody get pissed, ok?) red cloth and vinyl. I know the exterior is Metallic Maroon.....I've never actually seen that color. Funny thing is, the guy that runs the front counter has a white 94 SE. I get good service! I'll give him a call and find out today when they open. I'll also ask how complete the car is. About 15 miles away in Corvallis, they have another wrecking yard. 2 months ago when I called last, they had a complete drivetrain....SC on down for a Series I SC. Not sure the miles or year. Anyone interested, I can call on that again, too. The front counter guy was interested, but I'm not sure he'd follow through with a project that big.
