Default 97 fog light switch

i have a 97 Bonne SE and i am going to put in angel eyes with a seperate switch for the halo rings.
i am going to wire the fogs to the original switch and i want to mount a switch and a small led next to the switch for the rings.
now my question i am sure is going to have a simple answer but i wanna be safe rather than sorry.
how do you get the little panel off that holds my light switch im sure its just a couple of small tabs but i dont want to break any off
thanks for the help

The front part (towards the front of the car) comes down first. Then allow the back side to come forward. The clips toward the rear are very fragile. If you can't get anything to budge, pop out the map lights and use a screwdriver to release the front clips.

Don't be too confident....those clips are very fragile. Both mine were broke before replacing my headliner and maplights.

to get the overhead lights and switch out, you have to remove the light lenses, then push the clip in on both sides and pull down from the front, and them pull towards the front of the car. you will break stuff any other way

Why remove the switch? Just tie the new lights in to the stock wiring up front. Switch still works fine that way.

Just to point this out...on radio shanty'* website that switch is listed for AC current... you should make sure you have a DC switch when installing one in your car.
