Default Flashing Climate Control

My electronic climate control flashes at 49 degrees almost all of the time, does anyone have any ideas of what would be making this do this?

Diagnosing climate control faults (through 1993):

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=87
that should tell you what'* causing the blinking ECC, but it'* very likely to be the airmix actuator. Do a search on airmix actuator and you'll find tons of information, but ONLY if that'* the code you retrieve.

On your codes from the PCM, you're doing something wrong. Those codes are wacky, and all of them should be 2-digit only.

Try this:

Ignore code 58 if you get it. It'* a known bug in the 1992 PCM.

Every code is only two digits. Ignore the first code 12 that will flash three times, and again when 12 flashes 3 times at the end.

It says on the code thing that the ones with a prefix of 1 are past history codes which would be my 152 and 140

That is incorrect. All codes are only two digits. Those are not valid codes. You're reading it wrong.

Not knowing at all and just guessing, but could the 152 and 140 be indicating past history codes for 52 and 40?

No, it will ONLY flash 2-digit codes. And there are no codes with those numbers.
