In an earier post, I asked about the feasibility of using a '94 PCM in order to take advantage of the '94 FLOZ SC and TB I'd purchased (before becoming aware of the mistake this actually was). Well, no joy on that, I found out ..... SO...

I talked to Jeff, and did the same thing he ended up doing on his car ... put my '93 TB back on the newer SC, double-gasketing it to seal up the water passages. Finally, I have a car that is MUCH more enjoyable to drive!!! The stalling problem is gone, rough running is gone, and the tires light up quite nicely, thank-you!! Now my biggest problem is completing my quest for a rear bumper cover, and getting the tranny hesitation fixed (In another,earlier post)

I'm adding a post to the vendors section of the forum, relating a bit of my experience in dealing with the guy. Most of my experience is already covered, similar to others, but I'll add my testimonial. Suffice it to say, he'* definitely one to stay far away from.

Another unrelated question, now that I've got your attention.... I've been reading some of the posts about mufflers, and I need clarification on something. What size pipes do the SSE/SSEi'* use from the factory? I read that a Camaro/Firebird Flowmaster fits nicely. Would that be the crossflow design, with the 2.5" inlet and outlet pipe diameters? I looked in Summit'* catalogue, and they listed #FLO-42583 as the part number for the crossflow Firebird/Camaro application with the 2.5 pipes. Should this be pretty much a bolt-in muffler with the rest of the stock exhaust system? Any additional info is much appreciated !!!!

Yup, the camaro/firebird muffler will fit with minor mods and exhaust shop could do, I had a dynomax for about 3 years before I got SO sick of the droning resonance in OD that I got rid of it, drove me nuts. Stock may not be as flashy, but it'* quiet on the highway!
