Default A few Problems

We currently own a 92 Bonneville. Recently we have fun into a few problems

- The A/C no longer works, no idea what is wrong
- The park that opens/closes vent is broken, no matter what setting the switch is on it only blow out on the windshield
- I brake peddal goes to the floor when you slow down, all pads are good, we have bleed the system a few times
- The lights in the doors are breaking, clips are breaking, where to purchase new ones?
- We need a new overhead concal (cant spell it, the thing you can put glasses in)

Thats all I can think of right now, any help on fixing the problems is welcome.

AC no longer works? Won't blow cold, or what? More specifics please.

The part that is broken is possibly the door actuator to select different vents, but I'd be tempted to make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. It'* vacuum controlled. Pull out your climate control panel and you'll see what I mean. Make sure the fittings under the vacuum accumulator under the hood between the maxifuse relay center and windshield wiper motor aren't broken or disconnected.

If your bleeding is done and you're confident in it, and the pedal goes all the way to the floor, it'* likely a bad master cylinder.

Lights and clips can be had from the dealer, a wrecker, or simply glued. Light covers getting brittle on cars of this age is normal. Some of my courtesy lights in the doors are lightly glued on with silcone adhesive in the corners. A little dab'll do ya.

New overhead console from the dealer or www.gmpartsdirect.com, or a wrecker.

We have several members in MI that may be able to help you with some of this stuff.

A/C blows air, but it isnt cold. Just hot air you would get by just turning the fan on.

Sounds like your airmix actuator AND your mode actuator aren't working. Sounds very much like a vacuum problem for both problems to me.

I don't have any listings for the overhead console. I'll check my other books at home later.

I just checked records and we have recently (4-5 months ago) had the master cylinder replaced twice, both times it didnt help

NGK TR55 V-Power. NAPA has them in stock. jr's3800 just told me last night that he put rapidfires in the last time, and got 2mpg worse on a freeway trip than the time before. And the TR55'* are made by NGK, who makes the AC Delco plugs. The TR55 will also suit you fine if you decide to use a smaller SC pulley.

Also, both of the horns do not work. We believe it may be due to the remote starting, because the first time we got the car back a lot of thing didnt work, I do not remember when the horns stopped working. Any advice on how to get them working again is welcome.

Thank you guy lots for helping me out
