Default Faster Wipers

Has anyone found a way to get the wipers to move faster? My sonoma had nice quick wipers and so does my wifes 99 GP. Its not the motor, or just my car because I have seen numerous other Bonnies that have wipers that move the same speed. Remember these cars date back to 1985 when things like wiperspeed was not a priority.

maybe you should look into swapping in a motor from a GP? Would the gear ratio be a factor too?

Easier fix would be to put on the Rain X. I live by the stuff. You can see perfect in any amount of rain and you don't need wipers anymore. Was in a torrentail downpour yesterday...

i notice the same thing over the years of driving my bonne, the high setting is just enough to keep the rain off durring a down poor, i would go with BillBost'* idea and give rain X a shot........... i am not sure about diffrent gear ratios between the GP and bonne, but a change in grear ratio would quite a change.......

one more comment.....gotta love those parking wipers below the cowl........on the 92 to 99, !!!!!!

Except when you get a few inches of wet, heavy snow. Digging them puppies out get'* "fun" when the snow just wants to compact in there. Whenever it calls for snow I always kill the car with the wipers halfway up the windshield. My remote starter doesn't turn on accessories so the snow melts from under them

As far as speeding them up, I don't have a clue. Fast wipers annoy me, tho, so I almost always use intermittent (sp?) unless neccessary

I've always thought that the fastest setting is going to fling my blade right off.
