Default Evaporator is leaking, where the hell is it?

I changed my heater core last year and I don't recall seeing the evaporator. Does anyone know where it is in relation to to the heater core?

Thanks for the link. So it'* close to the center of the dash/firewall right? I've heard conflicting ideas on how to change the evaporator, some people say that I have to pull the dash. But I saw online that a guy changed it out through the firewall but that was on a 94, which is the easier way in your opinion?

You should be able to do it w/o pulling the dash. However if you do have to do the dash...our dash is easy.

I saw the write up on how to pull the dash in a 2001 but that dash looked like it had a separate pad on top but mine looks like it'* one molded piece. But my question is would it be easier to change it from the firewall side or pull the dash? And does anybody know how to pull the dash In a 98?
