Default Engine Stall

maybe its something i did wrong (i hope so), but i was going down to the boat landing (i was gona do some whoring, but on the way down (its a really windy and hilly road) there was a park ranger in an orange vest just before the final curve and drop, and i stoped and he said there was an accident that just happend so go slow...imlike sure thing, thanks....i proceeded around the corner and was going down hill (rather steep)and i stuck it in neutral and coasted down and applied the brake and i didn't go over 15mhp...and about 50-100ft. the check guages and cheack engine light came on, and i watched the oil pressure guage drop to 0 lost power everything as the motor cut off...i resumed to coast through the accident and right after i pulled over put it in park and restarted the motor, seemed fine so i went and parked at the boat landing and checked the oil, over half.

any thoughts?

(and incase your wondering the accident was a boat trailer came unhitched and crashed in the ditch and the boat continued into the woods....)

how full was your tank....it would make sense that if you were low on gas, because the sender/pickup is in the rear of the tank....

Odd...

Might have been enough of an angle to cause a temporary air block in the lines.

Did the oil pressure go to 0 before the engine stalled?

Maybe the oil all got to one side of the pan and the pump couldn't get any more and the PCM seen the low oil pressure and shut the engine down for you.

If your oil pressure falls, the PCM will command the fuel pump to shut off. Actually, if I recall, the PCM won't even know. I recall the power to the pump runs through the oil pressure sender on some models.
