my service engine soon light and an inflatable restraint light are on so does anyone know what this means?

Did you drive through any big puddles lately? My century did that when I drove through a puddle, the Airbag and SES light came on.

As for the engine light, get it scanned and give us the codes.

The airbag requires a different scanner to get info, I think. I do know that 94/95'* have had problems with the ground for the airbag module under the seat that was fixed by cleaning the ground.
