Is the accessory drive belt attached? Does the crankshaft pulley wobble as it spins? Is the coolant level to the top of the radiator, and is the recovery tank full? Can you tell if the noise is coming from outside or inside the engine? From the front or back? High or low? What is the engine oil level? What is the engine oil pressure when warmed up? How long since new plugs and wires? Are the battery cable connections clean and tight on all attachment points? Have you tested the battery or alternator? Is the engine bouncing around or rocking a lot as it misfires?

Your answers will help lead us to a diagnosis.

SHOULD be good? Go out and check it now please. There'* a very good reason this needs to be ruled out.
