Thanks for the information. I was really wondering if there was any combination of buttons on the instrument panel that would give me a code. I drive a C5 Corvette and this information is accessible from the "DIC, Drivers Information Center."
I know this Bonneville is not a Corvette, but now I know it is not built in information. Thanks.

Turbo, if I may make a suggestion that you try posting in the C5 Tech section of the Corvette Forum. There are many very knowledgable people like Mo, Ian and Mike amoung others. Theres is actually a related question in today'* topic by vtech. See link below and good luck.

Might I suggest adding your location, and your vehicle to your sig?
Location so that maybe someone close to you with a scanner can lend a hand.
Vehicle, so we know which car we're dealing with
And for a 97, you need a scanner. Several of us have them.
