Don't know if the beer + Heat indexz is a good idea....but whatever...I'd do it the same way.
Good luck and let us know how it goes, or comback with any questions you may have.

it goes without saying 98% of the equipped cars have a problem with there CCR, there are only 5-6 that actually have working CCR out of the almost 5000 member club...not good odds if you say me
Mine also works..as does Andrews (1995)
I'm pretty sure there'* more than 5-6.. but let'* get back on topic.
Yes..swap the ELC, it'* a great item to have and leave off the CCR.

Let'* put it this way:
Both of my cars have FE2 suspension.
Both of my cars have Energy Suspension Poly endlinks.
Both of my cars have ELC.
My 95 has CCR.
My 93 has a Gabriel/Monroe setup front and rear.
My 93 KILLS my 95 with CCR in handling. Can I feel the difference between CCR modes? Sure. But Performance ride doesn't even begin to compare to premium struts/shocks.

Well yesterday, I disassembled the ELC on my extra car. I have it all off, but halfway through I decided to do this my own way (not the same as they do at the factory). The search is now on for some Monroe Reflex ELC Struts for the rear. I was at the Advance auto last night picking up a clutch for another job, and they told me they no longer existed, but when I ask them a question they are dead wrong 90% of the time. Here are some pictures of what I took off.
