Default ECC Blinking

Thank to will/wren I did find out how to access the diagnostics mode. My question is this, is there a way I can get a detailed description of the ECC diagnostic options and is there an edition of this for dummies like me?

ECC diagnostics cover SEVERAL pages and goes very deep in the Factory Service Manual for 92 and 93 (they are identical in operation and function). It'* far too involved to truly compile for you.

Your best bet (and a good idea anyway) is to watch eBay for a good FSM set for a good price.

There are several functions that aren't even climate control dependent that the ECC can monitor including alternator output. This is also the only way to check ambient (inside) car temperature.
