So true. I bought your pads at Auto Value in St Cloud.
I bought the ceramics I put on my 1998 SSE at Carquest here in Sauk Centre. I believe they were both Raybestos -at least the set on the SSE is.
I have yet to see my front wheels get dirtier than the rear wheels. My back wheels get soo much dirtier compared to the fronts now.
BTW, I only paid $45 for the set from Carquest. A steal considering I paid $69 at Auto Value in St. Cloud for the set on the your 1994 SLE Jay.

Oh yeah, I forgot -if you get Raybestos make sure the part # starts cmx####.

In fact, I believe most brake pad makers start the part # for their Ceramic pads like that. I know when I called around to find who sold the cheapest ceramics they all told me the part # for the pads, and the makers (various makers but I don't remember them all) and from the 3 or 4 different brands of ceramic pads available at local parts stores they all started with cmx....
