when you get the spacer on the bottom bolt out, grind off opposite corners of the spacer so you can remove and replace with the motor bracket in place.

visualize if you grabbed the spacer and lifted one end up and the other end pushed down.

Anyway I did the belt replacement. I hated every minute of it. My bro and my dad helped me. If that belt breaks I'm scrapping the car...

lol...heh...all u poor S2 people....belt change for me takes 5 minutes

but i guess that mount is good being that the S2s have so much power..they need that extra strength...i guess

Mine popped out without grinding, but would certainly been easier if it was ground. Next time, I'm going to grind it.

I did this a few weeks ago, really ticked me off. Then I found a REALLY easy way to do it. Near teh end of my thread is a step by step.
