The dreaded ECC temp display flash.
Yep, my '95 SSE non-supercharged has the ECC temp display flash.
I start the car, it flashes for a long while, then stops.
As far as the ECC goes, nothing works. No AC, no heat, no blower, no defrost, I can't hear any heat flaps/doors moving, no anything. Totally dead.
I'm completely in the dark here. Any help is appreciated.

Great. I don't think I'm taking my $500 beast anywhere near a dealership though. I guess I was hoping that the flashing itself was some sort of code.
I may just try to hunt up a new unit at the junkyard and see if that works.
Thanks for the help all.

No..you really can't feasibly change it without rebuilding most of the car.
Let'* start off with the basics. Have you checked all the fuses under driver side? Maxifuse relay area? I had an issue with my ECC being blank and dead. Removing and reinstalling the main fuse for the AC reset it and fixed my issue.
Being that you have no response from it at all..I'd wonder if the HVAC programmer was getting power.

I did check the fuses and relays. The ECC unit is actually getting power, as the display works just fine...it'* just that the thing won't DO anything.
I assume the programmer is in the dash with the ECC?
