SES Light Blues
Well first I want to say thanks to Bill and Dan for there previous posts on my issue. They have been very helpful in trying to track down my problem. As of now my car is still reading the P0171 System to lean bank one code. Steps taken so far.
1. Checked Negitive battery cable for corison.
2. Cleaned MAF sensor.
3. Looked for vaccum leaks and replaced all lines that were brittle and worn.
4. Replaced EGR to LIM tube that was cracked.
Now I thought I had the problem solved, but the light came back on tonight when I came home from work. I drove the car last night after installing the new EGR tube and for about 20 miles today no light. Once the car sat and got cold, real cold, the light came on before I got out of works parking lot. So any thoughts? Still don't have PSI gague for fuel rail, but the pump, sending unit, filter, pressure regulator, were replaced just about a year ago.

One area that can cause this code and is a real pain to locate is the EVAP system. Locate that vacuum line and cap it off at the throttle body. See if that corrects the code. If so, then the problem is in that vacuum line.

Okay so I capped off the EVAP system at the throttle body and so far so good. The weather is warmer now so I am going to wait a few days to see if it comes back on. I will not have access to Mitchells On Demand till i return to school mid month. Does anyone have a diagram of the evap system? I need to reference what needs to be checked/replaced. Has anyone ever replaced/repaired there evap system vaccum lines?

So its been a few days now and still no light with the EVAP vaccum lines capped off. Nighthwk thanks for the diagram it was very helpful. Question though, should there be a line that runs from the fuel tank to the charcoal canister. I kinda have a feeling it must be somewhere further on back.
