Does anyone have a problem with the sill gasket (runs from the front of the front door, down the sill, to the rear wheels) rubbing the paint off the bottoms of the doors? When I bought my car it had worn a line on both drivers side doors from 4 years of use. I cleaned the doors, primed it, and then layed on 3 heavy coats of Rustoleum Epoxy white (perfect match, and who looks at the bottoms, anyway?), and a year later it has worn thru that. It does not do it on the passengers side. The car has never been wrecked and is straight as hell. Im thinking of removing them and just putting the bolts back in the holes with grommets to prevent rust. Bare door seams is a NO-NO in the snow belt, hope this isnt a yearly thing.
