Window sill corrosion
I noticed the outside window sill looks like it needs some help on my new 01 SSEi. The sill looks like it'* going flat. Has anyone else seen this? I'm not sure if the sill can be buffed or replaced.

Any chance we can get a picture of the problem area?

I can post a pic this weekend. Just checking if this is a common thing....

The VILLA is waiting with open arms!!!
I haven't seen this as a common item either, but when you say sill....you are talking about the horizontal piece that runs the length of the window, not the pillar piece that you touch every time you shut the door, correct?
Regardless, that *should* be easily replaceable...just wear safety glasses

Are you speaking for experience on the glasses?
Safetly first Karl.. even if you are (cough Chris cough) pulling a door panel. Never know when you'll be wearing an eye patch for a couple weeks and have to listen to the coworkers "ARRRGGGG your a pirate"
yes Karl, EVERYONE has this problem.. and No, there is no cure, the only thing you could do it sand them down and paint them or buy new ones.
painting them may be tricky, because its a somewhat soft plastic so sanding smooth could prove challenging
IIRC, they are actually quite expensive
