97 oil pressure sender/switch confusion
Both my 90 and 93 have a relationship between oil pressure and fuel supply. Generally, if oil pressure is low, the fuel pump will be truned off. For the life of me I can not find any reference to the "switch" part of the oil pressure sender/switch in the 97 manual. The connector view shows 4 terminals but I can only see two of them being used in a couple diagrams. All of which relate to the sender part and run the oil pressure gauge.
I could not find any input to the PCM either. Since the PCM controls the fuel pump module in L67 equipped vehicles I figured this would be a good way to shut the fuel pump down in the event of low oil pressure.
Can someone clear the smoke?

Anyone
There is an oil level sensor but I still can't find any interaction with pressure. Do the SII motors not have a saftey for low oil pressure?

Here'* an update. Even though the 97 sender has 4 pins and the connector has 4 slots, there are only two wires coming out of the connector. I guess this means that oil pressure isn't a consideration for the 97 L67... only oil level.
The 90 sender physically fit in in the motor so the gauge should work fine as the 97 sender range woould have given an inaccurate reading. I will need to replace the connector and add the other 2 wires in order to connect to theh fuel pump relay circuit.
