Default coils

would putting a set of msd coil blaster ignition coils help with spark and improve mileage/ performance by any bit? found a full set of three on cl for $25 said they were used on a show car and being changed out for engine bay color change

They will make no improvement. In fact, they tend to perform a bit worse then stock. under high boost they will misfire. But they sure do look good.

X2. They look nice, but that'* about it. Sent two sets back before finally giving up and going back to stock.

They work fine on a stock engine. But that'* about it. There'* simply not enough spark to fire a high boost engine. A lot of people, including me have tired them. And end up going back to stock. The price you said isn't bad, but I would test them before buying.

If you want to dress up your engine bay, they do look real nice. I'd have them in mine if they performed better.

Bo..if you want problems in a year, do them. Make sure you put them in your sig so that we can point them out as the first thing to change.

Dan is back on stockers the last time I knew.
