Hey everyone, I love this car, really I do. But I'm afraid it hates me! lol, if it'* not one thing it'* another, I fix one thing, and another problem comes up. Now I'm getting a few codes.

I got code 18, it doesn't say anything for it.

I also get code 26 "Quad Driver Error"

And code 55 "Grounded V-REF, faulty oxygen sensor or ECM"

And I get code 58 which is apparently a known bug.

I'm really not sure how to fix these bugs.

I just put a new 02 sensor on it 2 weeks ago, I heard there were two. I replaced the one by the engine exhaust.

Any help for me would be greatly appreciated.

55 - Exahust Gas Recirculation Fault ( EGR Solenoid # 3 )
58 - Personal Automotive Security System ( PASS-Key ) Fuel Enable Circuit

Go to the Techinfo----Electrical-------Computer---------Trouble codes for the 92-93 Supercharged bonnevilles, all the codes are there.

18: Cam/Crank error. It could be the cam sensor, crank sensor, ICM, or any wire in between them. It'* COMMONLY the crank sensor, located behind the harmonic balancer (crank pulley).

26: This can be any of the following: TCC apply (does the car lockup in OD at 48mph showing about 1800 rpm'*?) Low speed fan relay, Evap canister purge solenoid (round thing under your airbox), or shift solenoid a or b.

55: EGR. You have the digital EGR. Spray WD-40 on the three spring assemblies on the valve (the EGR has the mushroom-looking cap on it tapped into the front exhaust manifold and feeding into the supercharger just next to the throttle body). Do this 2 or 3 days in a row to free up the sticky solenoid shaft. If this doesn't work, get a gasket, remove the valve, and clean it. These rarely fail and respond well to cleaning (digital valves up through and including 1993).

58: Ignore it. It'* a known bug in the 92 PCM and means nothing.
