code 43. where do i start?

engine light on,abnormal idle,sluggish acceleration,code 43,where do i start?christmas eve of all days.when she wants attention ,she really wants attention.please help.

what year and trim are we dealing with here?

the gearheads will chime in but I think that 43 has something to do with knock sensor or spark control..

or electronic spark control circuit fault

Start looking over your ignition system.

Check the knock sensor plug, as well as the Ignition control module. These are the two items mentioned in the DTC code.

took it to gm.yep,icm is bad.bought a cheap one when i first got my bonnie.it took a crap i guess.coulnt afford delco back then.my mistake.thanks for all your help guys.
