Check oil showed on driver info panel for first time '99 SSE1

Check oil showed on driver info panel for first time '99 SSE1
"Check oil" only showed for a few seconds. I checked the oil and it registered part way down on the "Add 1 qt." part of the oil stick. 98,500 miles now. Oil changed at 94,535 and Kend 5230 Supreme was used. Now I have added a quart of oil my future son-in-law had. What do I do next? Have the oil changed? Help! JAKSGTP! We have similar Bonnevilles.

Along the same lines, how long can I wait to change my oil?
I try to do it every 3000 miles but just hit my mile change yesterday, but absolutely no funds right now.
Can it go another month(about 700-1000 miles more than likely)?
