Default Check Oil level light

I bought my 96 Bonneville with 134k miles (one owner) about a month ago and its been running perfect even up until today. Its been about 1k miles since ive had my oil changed and tonight the check oil level light came on (yellow) i shut the car off and started it back up and the light did not show up until i started driving but went away after about a minute . After the second time it went off it hasnt come back on since. The oil pressure is perfect and havent noticed any oil leaks or weird kinds of smoke comming out the tailpipe of any kind.

Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks for the input!!!

Did you actually check your oil level. The oil level is checked by a sensor on yoru oil pan. Check out that sensor see if you have corrosion or such.
