My SSEi sat for 10 days in my garage while I was out of town. I let it warm up a little, drove it about 2 miles, it sat for 2 hours, I started it up and the check engine light stayed on.

How much can I drive it before having a mechanic check it? (shops are closed for the weekend probably) I need it for the weekend! Help! Ideas?

Unless it starts flashing.. it '* probably nothing threatening to the engine. However if you stopped off at a parts store and they scanned for free. Then post the code here, we could help tell you how urgent the code is.
