coolant line
Ya i had the same situation on my 95 ssei, i was at the dealership talking to a mechanic about the sweet smell coming out from under the hood, the car was hot at the time and he went looking for leaks and just as he touched that hose it broke right off. At least i was already there, we replaced it with the metal piece and its been good so far. Had fun cleaning up the pools of coolant, beacuse they had 3 guard dogs die within a month beacuse of the other peoples engine coolant leaks.Dogs love coolant!

My 95 LeSabre I had before the Bonne had that happen on the way to work one night. The neat part was, for the first part of the next winter, no snow would stick where she was parked that night. She had marked her territory......

i dont think so
i really don't think that can warp the heads really. If that was the case, shops would be doing alot of head work.. think of how many cars you see pulled over overheating lol.. in AZ it seems that'* all ive seen.. oh ya and im sure my 9C1 would be screwed i had some really bad cooling problems with that bad boy.. but never any kind of head leakage or anything.. eh whatever.. later

This is another interesting plastic doo hickey junk that GM has used... This is a very common problem among the series I 3800'*... GM for quite some time used plastic water pump bypass fitting in the lower mainfold... It is normal for these to fail as the years wear on... The GM replacement is an all metal unit as opposed to the plastic... I have actually seen this very fitting sold at Advance auto parts as well... Good Luck
