How does the egr removal result in burnt valves? I'm not trying to be cocky or anything(the internet is a great place for taking things the wrong way). I just want to understand why it happens???

The EGR actually LOWERS combustion temps by displacing a small amount of oxygen. The PCM still maintains the proper Air Fuel Ratio, though. On a non-egr'd car, your compustion temps will be hotter than on an identical EGR car, resulting in burnt valves.
