Default CCR

My performance and touring ride buttons lights are both on, so read that you should disable the CCR, and it'* under the drivers seat. Like... under the carpet or under the car on the drivers side? I've looked under the seat, nothing. Also, if my struts are failing, will my battery go dead(ELC)? And if so, can I disable this feature? My ride in the car seems to be ok, for a car with 152000 miles. Your input is much appreciated. THX!

The CCR will not run the battery dead. It only sees a fault and lit both buttons to tell you.

I'm not too sure about that -my old 1999 SSEi had a faulty CCR system and shortly after it went bad the battery started dying over night -new battery and alternator didn't fix it, but disconnecting the air pump under the rear bumper saved the battery.

Same thing with my old 1998 SSE, but that didn't have CCR, just the standard ELC air ride.

Your CCR can fail without the ELC failing or developing a leak. They are seperate systems.

Ok, so where exactly is the CCR, so that I can disable it? And I haven't had any problems with the ELC yet, but I still have the OEM struts and when they go bad, how do I disable it? THX!

CCR is built into all 4 struts. ELC is a seperate air compartment in the rear struts. I think they each have their own fuses.
