Well i dont knwo if they are related or not. It would be werid that they both happened and are not related but i dunno. Tomorrow i am going to swap fuel rails and see if that does anything. I am getting fuel to the rail but only 1 injector is actually spitting out fuel. So what does that mean, 5 are plugged or something? That is kinda werid if 5 plugged up.

PS i talked to my sister in law (the person i bought the car from) and she did a fuel filter and fuel sending unit right before i bought the car. She showed me the repair bill and it was literally not even a month before i bought it. So that rules out fuel filter.

I just had a head-smacking moment here. I recall what you said earlier about the fuel only coming out of one injector, but I just had a thought.

Is it possible that the fuel injector harness was damaged, or a loose connector got more loose? Because seriously, how likely is it that 5 injectors failed at once? Not very likely.

It'* been a good year since I've had to troubleshoot injectors, but I recall that one of the injector connector'* pins (the connector on each individual injector, I mean to say) is constant hot when the ignition is on. I forget the voltage, but it'* hot. Pulses don't happen until it'* cranked though, obviously.

That might be a good thing to check with a multimeter before going to the trouble of swapping fuel rails.

You can check for fuel injector pulse with a #194 light bulb. Just straighten the wires at the base of the bulb & insert into the wiring connector for an injector that'* not firing. Watch for the bulb to pulse while being cranked.

Is the tach showing any RPM'* while cranking?

I went over all the wiring and nothing is damaged.

I am going to swap out the whole injector rail today and see if that does anything

PS- on a side note the coils are not firing either (they are not jumping over)

PSS, i dont need a belt to start the car correct? (figured i would ask even though i know the answer)

It'* a lot easier to plug in a light bulb & see if the injectors are getting 12 volts. This is lookiing more & more like a crank sensor/harmonic balancer issue. Any RPM'* on tach while cranking?

When cranking it over the bulb comes on and stays on.

No rpms on the tach and none on the scan tool

PS- a side issue, the radio will not come on until i plug in the scan tool (once i plug it in, then it comes on in sec mode and i press the code and it is fine, then once i unplug either the power or the port it shuts back off and i must re plug it back in and reset the sec). It must be pluged in to the port and the power. The dinger wasnt on until i plugged it in either but now it comes on once i open the door with the key on again. I am very confused

Well that issue with the scan tool started happening before this issue. So they may be related but maybe not. Actually the more i think about it, that issue has been happening since the first time i tried the radio since the cam install. :?

I'd pull the harmonic balancer & take a good look at that & the sensor.
