Default Car is Back...with more drama.

well, you heard me right. the bonneville didn't go to the scrapper. the insurance company took it and deemed it repairable but nichole'* dad decided that he didn't feel like paying the $500 deductable. so instead, he took the car back as-is and apparently is selling it to his friend for $1000. nichole and I are talking again and she asked him why he won't sell it to me and apparently when this all began, he and my dad had been talking and my dad said not to let me buy it. BUT, i talked to my dad since then and he said i could buy it just as long as i am sure that i can fix it. so, i already got the parts and labor lined up but my dad fell and screwed up his shoulder and had emergency surgery and he'* in no condition to talk to about buying a car. so, i'm crossing my fingers that nichole'* dad doesn't finalize the sale of the car to his friend before i have a fair shot at it. the more i think about it, a car with 65,000 miles on it for $1000 is an awesome deal. i can afford a $75 frame bushing and a $35 water pump.
