Please put your year and trim level/model in your signature.

Check Techinfo. Link at the top of the page. There'* an article on relocating the compass detector if you have large subs or toolboxes in your trunk. Do you?

Please check your sig in the TEST forum, not in the mechanical sections.

It would help if you read the forum descriptions before posting. The Moderators have been very busy cleaning up after you today.

If you have changed any speakers on the back deck, then most likely that is the problem. As you'll find in that Techinfo article, relocating the compass module will most likely fix up the problem.

Maybe a bad module, however the typical failure is due to magnetic fields that have been changed. Like any speakers in the deck or trunk.
