brake problem?

Default brake problem?

My left front tire area makes a rubbing on sandpaper kind of noise especially when i turn left. But when i pump the brakes it doesnt make that noise anymore. I'm assuming its the brakes? can someone help me out with this

To know for sure, you should inspect the brakes and look for low amount of material on the brake pads or rotors showing odd wear patterns.
