A few hours ago while pulling into my friend'* driveway, my car beeped twice and the check gauges light came on. My gas is low, so I figured that was the problem. When I was driving home a few minutes ago, my gauges light was still on, and then the brake light came on (meaning the one in the little car diagram or "system monitor") and the car started beeping repeatedly until I got home and shut the car off (I was only a block away from my house, so I just kept going, with one foot on the e-brake just in case ).

My 3rd brake light was out earlier today, and I put in a new bulb. There is also a light out in my trunk lid (I haven't replaced that one yet). I don't know if either of these being out would make it sound a warning chime though.

It'* too dark out to do anything right now, but I will check the obvious things in the morning. What might be wrong with the car?

Check the level of the brake fluid in the master cylinder.

Well I filled up my brake fluid, pushed the brake a few times and found a massive leak in one of the brake lines. Went to three different stores and finally found the right parts at advance auto. I fixed the line, then found a new leak in the line next to it... Back to the store, and I end up coming home without an adapter I needed. So I'm going back tomorrow (a third time! ) to pick up the adapter and I'll be back on the road tomorrow afternoon.
