Sounds like it'* running poorly. My recommendation would be fill it up and add a can of dry gas. Seems you are sucking water or garbage on the bottom of the tank.

Give it about 50 miles of running before thinking there is anything else wrong with it.

Welp, I managed to impress myself this weekend. I changed the spark plugs and fuel filter myself...took awhile and got a bunch of cut up knuckles but I did it.
I also put in some dry gas and filled up the tank as recommended.
After all that, I was sure that my car would run smoothly again. I was wrong.
It is still puttering bad. That'* pretty much what it sounds like when you're standing at the back of the car....puttering. And driving it sputters and hesitates something fierce.
Help?

I'm going to have to stick with ignition. I'd like to see spark at all 6 cylinders at this point.

I didn't replace the wires...I have Taylor'* now...about 2 years old. Should I get the Belden wires?

2 year old Taylor'* are the worst thing you could have. I've had 3 sets fail, and run Belden'* now.

Two year old wires, (nods to other Bill in agreement) most likely the problem.

(Looks at other Bill again for the trash bag comment...that was funny)
