in reply to bonnalien and smellbird, YES, the car handled the accident well....i don't have pics since it was towed in a hurry (blocking traffic at rush hour). i've been in another accident before...in which i flipped a toyota corolla and hit a tree all at around 70 mph...(no kidding...Someone is definitely wanting me to live) so i know what an impact feels like...yet when i hit the van, i didn't feel an impact at all...these cars are built REALLY well...the crash rating is proof...had i been in a corolla this time...i wouldn't have been on this thread. =( as for the curse of the white bonnies, i really think that the jealous world is out to get our cars...and vans...ugh...they're the worst!

I crashed my first Bonne into a pickup at 60 mph so I know the feeling as well. Blacking out and seeing that you slid about 50 feet isnt fun either.

Until I scrolled down and actually saw your car was white, I was hoping it wasn't. This curse is for real. Glad you're okay though. Hope you get another Bonne someday. I have had many close calls with mine. Almost the exact situations, where people have cut me off within INCHES of hitting me. If my car ever got totalled I would until my eyes fell out. But that'* the ONLY way I would get rid of my car.
I'd go after her insurance for a lot of money for her totalling your car!!! Crazy women drivers (Excluding those that drive Bonnes of course )

These cars ARE built well though. I know a couple that has a 93 SE. The wife fell asleep (or was dosing off) in the passenger seat, and the husband fell asleep while at the wheel. She saw and felt the car veer to the left toward the median, and she hit his arm to wake him. He woke up and tried to steer back but couldn't do it all the way. At about 65-70mph they hit the cement median, the side of the car lifted the wheels ran across it. They came down. Stopped the car, and the only damage was the driver side view mirror was hanging, and probably a few scrapes on the left wheels at most.

**starts quivering** And i take 3 kids 20 miles to school on I-75 (one of the top 50 worst interstates just because of the Cinti Drivers) Its frightening, but I feel VERY confident in the Bonne now. Glad to hear your safe! Hope you get another 3800!Good luck in your future shopping!
