Is there any way I can cheaply fix this my self. The break it a few inches before the cat right after the downpipe starts to straighten out. It looks like a pretty clean break. Is there any adapter I can get to put in one side and put over the other or something like that?

You can get a coupler/sleeve at most auto parts stores, but it'll require cutting out a section first. Then slip it on and back.

It'* best if this is welded, not clamped. If you're going to clamp, put 'muffler mender' tape on first.

You should be 2 1/4". But measure it to be sure. Your DP may be 2.5?
