Toddster has been hitting a lot of climate control issues lately. I'm sure he will hit this thread soon.

It'* a good chance the brushes are shot on the motor. This should be all you need.

A trick you might be able to use to get the blower trucking until you put the new one in... Tap it with something. Coming cross country in the heat of the summer my shoe worked well at a Steak N Shake around Nebraska.

To swap it out is pretty easy until it'* cold. Pull the 4 13mm bolts off the strut tower bar and remove it. Then you can get to the blower motor, a family of 7mm or 8mm bolts hold it in. That'* the tough part...gloves and small bolts don't mix. Wiggle it out and fiddle with it for a while to find the right spot to remove it. You might need to remove the rear engine bracket (2 13mm nuts) that has the fuel lines and O2 clipped to it.

Overall it shouldn't take you long at all, but it'* cold out.
