That usually is the culprit on the ECC system when its stuck on high and will not shut off..

That would be called " Blower Control Module " They do get expensive

I replaced this part on one friend'* cadillac, and another'* mercury awhile ago. Its a pretty common problem on other cars.

My AC guy only charged me for the part $125.00 OEM and did the labor for free. Only took about 15 minutes.
