Default Blew trans, help me

I blew the trans in my supercharged 98. What do I do (re-build/replace wise)?

Getting a tranny rebuilt can be very expensive but then again you never know just how good a wreckers one will be or how much longer it will last. The interchange manuals will say 98 only but any year 4T65E tranny will work only differences are the gear ratio and later on some years had some of the tranny wiring switched around. It doesn't have to be a HD model the only difference there is the differential which if your'* is still ok can be put into a non HD tranny making it stronger. I have used 2003 tranny'* on 98 cars with no problem. Dan

your car is a 93 88 correct??? you will need to get your current trans rebiult OR replace it with a 4t60 HD with one that has the same gear ratio as your car

He drives a Supercharged 93 Olds 98, not a 98 Bonnie..but yeah what pat said, 92 may be interchangable....try to find a 93 though if possible or rebuild the one that is in there....
