They've said officially it will cost $2000 CDN to fix, and they're not charging labour.

If you want to go the legal route, there are peple who deal with this kind of crap eveyday. It is called CAR HELP CANADA and u can see them on CITY TV or go to their web site . For a smaal fee u will get all the legal advice u will need . Don't let the dirt bags get away with it!!!

Well I presented the list from the car-part.com site to our mechanic and he was extremely impressed with the info. And became rather enthusiatistic about it. So it looks like we're gonna get a new engine instead!

Yay, not having to pay those evil rebuilders... *shakes fist*
