Default Best way to flush cooling system 92 Olds 88?

Would this work good? Take off the upper radiator hose, remove the thermostat and replace the housing, pour water into the radiator and it will come out the thermostat housing.

That'* what I ended up doing to my Regal a bit back. I am just not sure how good it will get the heater core.
