Default Belt Change 2

Im referring to dbeast420'* excellent post on changing belts, but i decided to repost since it was a year old topic. The two upper axis bolts wont come off on mine! They seem to have nuts underneath, but i cant get to them at all. Anyone know what my problem is? (besides being a little green at this)

Also, off topic, but whats a good way to remove bolts that are stuck fast? The two bottom bolts are on so tight i keep stripping them trying to take em off.

Thanks!

Forgot something... :(

There also seems to be another bolt on the left side, right behind the power steering pump pulley. How in the heck do you get to this bolt, or do you even need to?

Ok.. a link to Dbeasts post would be nice.

If you are trying to take off the torque axis mount. STOP

Proper procedure is to pull the tire, and plastic splash guard. Take out only the bottom motor mount bolt. Remove the spacer behind it and slip the old belt out, new belt in and put the parts back on.

The way you are heading currently, you'd have to disassembly over 1/2 the engine.

Dbeast should be shot for sending you his toughest belt change ever thread. And in the future, you may want to read the whole thread. It was posted in that thread about how much tougher his change was than it had to be. Matter of fact... I think we joked with him about how nice a walk to the store over the issue that was his belt change.
