Default Battery retainer bolt sheared

Bolt sheared when removing battery. Bought new battery tray and bolt. Could not remove old tray appears to be welded on. Bolt too short for removal tool.
Any suggestions, don't want to use clamp over top of battery unless it'* the only way.
