upper or lower, front or rear?
If its the rear ones, well, take it to a shop, as far as i know they are pressed into place.
The front lowers are easy to do, the upper ones however do require a few special tools to tackle for example a Pickle fork.

My lower balls are in the front, not the rear.
Sorry. Front ball joints, left and right (lower): 9769579
Rear lower ball joints, left and right: 9769581
Get out the checkbook. All 4 will cost you some cash.

It also depends on if they have been replaced before. If not it is a big pain in the butt. Ours were still factory with the rivets in them one side took all day. Because we had to chisel off the head and the punch out the rivet which is a slow process because we don't have air tools. We had a hell of a time punching them out so we had to drill them out. If you have oreilly auto parts in your area we got lifetime warranty ones for $19.00 a piece. If they have been replaced before is a easy change. Because they just bolt on basically
