Nah...I think you shouldn't be climbing around while it'* running. If it'* been doing it for 4 years and so far so good...it'll be ok to leave it for a bit longer.

lol yeah i've been told if it isn't broke then don't try to fix it,also I tried trading it in on a 2001 sse and to date i haven't heard anything from em,so I take it as they're not interested in it,so i say &^&* em,i'll keep mine

Yeah they sucked from day one... I told the parts store I'd never buy their lifters again... The stock lifters have been great

Oasis, try removing the belt (when the motor is cold) and start it. Let it run for no more than 2 minutes. Do you still hear the noise?
