backfires 92 bonneville
got a 92 bonneville giving me a severe headache.
2 major problems with her.
1- speedometer goes berzerk every once in a while
2- engine backfires badly or even stalls when hot
please any help with these problems would be appreciated

Has the SEL(Service Engine Soon) light ever come on? You might have some codes stored in the computer that might tell us something.
When my "Speedometer went Bezerk" once. It was due to the fact that my VSS(Vehicle Speed Sensor) failed. Cruise Control and the Transmision O/D was also effected.
I'm not sure what is causing your engine to stall/backfire when hot. But I would get this car scanned for codes.
