If you can hear a noise, sounds like it'* a problem with your motor.

Pop the door panel off and check ALL the connections.

If you're really cheap and really ambitious you could swap front and back motors (on the same side) to check if its the motor, but i too suspect it is.

Bang on the door while holding the switch. It works for me.

Although I went a bit further by removing the door panel so I could inspect the wires, this was my solution too. I tapped the motor while pressing the switch and it'* been fine ever since.

Yep, mine sticks some times, I just hit the door panel while holding the button and it works. Guy at the shop told me some times when it is hot, the rubber around the the window frame has a tendency to "grip" the window.

Never peel factory stickers!

I peeled my d/* one while waiting for a buddy in the morning. And that afternoon I couldn't open d/* window. The excess goo on the window gripped the weatherstrip and kept the window from moving.

Duh, was my diagnosis once I had the door panel off and was not finding anything binding the window.

I supect it is wind motor if you hear faint noise that may mine you are getting power. But check the connection and if you have cuircuit tester test the connection if you want you can borrow mine. Aslo I know on my car and driver side their is mass of plate the hooks to bottom of the controls and they don't work if it comes losse
