Default Automatic Headlamps

The "Dome Thing" post reminded me of this problem with my car. The automatic headlights work for about a min when I first start up at night, I won't think anything about it and I'll start driving then after the min or less, all my lights shut off (great trick when your driving on a friday saturday night around bar close when the cops are out), then I just have to pull the ****. And don't matter how much I play with the switch for the sentinel.....They won't work again untill I shut down the car for a lil while. Anyone else have this problem? Or have any suggestions?
