Ok, well I don't have the original cylinder(lock was removed when I got the car). Is the metal clip used to just install it, or is it used as a part for the lock? Is this the metal tab you were talking about to remove the lock

With the key out, and the lock in the "unlocked" position (keyslot straight up) you'll see a metal tab visable in that slot towards the front of the housing-....remember we are still on the back side of housing. Press down on that metal tab (small screwdriver) and insert the key, and turn counterclockwise, and pull out.

Well Matt, not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure. But I looked at my Cylinder and beings that mine is plastic, I dont see how I would be able to get my pins out. I forgot that yours was gone when you got it so you have no donor cyl. Probably need to take it to a locksmith and have them do it. I wouldnt think it would be that much $$, I had something similar done a few years back, and was surprized at how inexpensive it was. Sorry and Good luck!

Thanks. That'* alright. I'll check it out at the locksmith, and see how much it would be.
